Anyone got this working on 2016?

description

I'm trying this solution on 2016 and having no luck. Has anyone been able to get it to work?

I get a text box showing up when I add the web resource, but no editing controls, and the data I put in it doesn't save.

Hey, this should work in CRM 2016. Check the documentation to ensure it's been set up correctly.

I did go through it multiple times (and had been able to get it working on 2015, no problem). Maybe I'll try again now with the most recent update. Thanks!

Hi,
I have been able to use it in 2016 onPremise.
I do have a problem though. The editor works very well (I have at least 10 of them on one form) but this case does not work:
  • open a form
  • edit one editor field and then close & save (without clicking out of the field first)
  • the changes made in the editor field are NOT saved <-- this occurs because the content of the editor field is saved as HTML in the crm field when the user clicks outside of the editor field.
In this case this does not happens.
  • we have a similar issue when somebody close the form using the X. CRM will not ask to save the changes first!
Does anybody have a solution for this issue?
Thanks
Christian

Hi there,

This only works for me in Chrome.

I have tried this in both Online and OnPrem 2016, and it doesn't work in IE11 or Firefox. I can insert the web resource but there are no editing controls.

Has anyone got this to work in IE? Any troublehshooting tips?

Thanks,
Ben

Ben,
Yes, at the time I was able to have it working in IE11, Chrome, and Firefox.
We are onPremise 2016 0.1 (8.0.1.79)
The issue I mentioned above was not resolved.
We also needed to add more functionality (crossing) and we eventually switched to xrmtinymce.
